Critter Pics, Okinawa

>Family Photos: Okinawa Style

>One of the tasks on my Bucket List before leaving was to have family pictures taken.  Professional photographers are plentiful on this island; much in the same way geckos and hermit crabs and mongoose abound: they’re everywhere (though the photographers are much more pleasant than all the critters I don’t allow into my house).  Narrowing down the decision about who to choose ultimately came down to the cost, and while I understand that you get what you pay for and high quality photos are ultimately worth every penny, I was also keeping in mind that we’ve got a lot of expenses coming up in the next few weeks that we’ve planned for, but which are still going to leave our savings account with a much smaller balance.

Ultimately I went with Sproutlings Photography, a group of four talented photographers specializing in family photography on Okinawa.

Here are some of the results of that early-morning session:

If you’re interested, you can see the rest of the album here.  Many thanks to Lisa and Sproutlings for helping us create these memories to bring with us when we leave.
