>Tuesday Tweets: December Wrap-Up

>I’ve been informed that even though my status updates on Facebook aren’t technically tweets, the name is still acceptable.  I don’t have anything interesting to share in my usual Tuesday Tidbits fashion this week, so I thought I’d go ahead and wrap up the remainder of my December updates here.  There are only a few this time, but I’ve included a picture AND a video for your viewing pleasure.

December 18: Left the Ball early last night because some dude forgot to tell me – even once – that I looked nice. Yes, I had a hissy fit. And yes, he slept on the couch.

(This was taken on our way out.  You might not be able to tell, but Tony looks at this picture and says, “Man, you were pissed!”  Yes.  Yes I was.)

December 20:  It’s the classic “I’m two and if it’s not all about ME then I’m just not happy” response. Two is just the BEST age. ;-)

(Click on picture to see video)
December 29:  So sad that both of my kids refuse to watch ‘The Lion King’. It’s one of my all-time fav movies, and they won’t even consider it. What is up with the universe??*
December 31:  Really wish Tony had gotten to use more than 3 days (only 2 consecutive) of the over 60 days of leave he has built up. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn’t have to go in on New Year’s Day, at least.

*Conversely, although I put this movie on our TV and both of my children pointedly left the room and/or refused to acknowledge it playing on the screen, when Bear put in their Hannah Montana movie a few days later I couldn’t get either one to stop staring at the screen long enough to eat.  It’s a sign of the times, I suppose.

  2. >My MIL has the same candle. When she used it for my wife's birthday last month it freaked the shit out of my son. (Also, great video.)I typically try and cover the requisite "you look pretty tonight" when I first see the finished look (I used to try and tell her when she got out of the shower, but that was too early, apparently). Maybe Tony should try that.
